Reason for a starting a Muslim Salon egis mint Misaki

This is Misaki from MINT hair salon.
We started having a Lady’s Day so muslim women would feel comfortable coming, and there is a reason why we started!

Before, a customer visiting from the UAE made a reservation after seeing our Instagram. At first we were unaware of why a private room was requested but we prepared it for her. And when we welcomed her, we were able to learn much about her religious conventions!
We granted her wish of wanting a stylish purple hairstyle. I realized that even though they wear hijabs, they have beautiful hairstyles underneath and have the desire to try new styles! Our female staff and our muslim female customers were able to share this joy.

This also happened.
One of my son’s classmate’s mother is muslim, and when I asked her where she cut her hair, she told me that she could only cut her hair when she went back to her home country, Indonesia. I was surprised when I heard this, and realized that there isn’t a salon where muslim women can go to comfortably.
So, I decided to create Lady’s Day!

This month on June 16th and 23rd from 18:00~ will be Muslim Women Salon Day!

こんにちは
恵比寿のヘアサロンミントのミサキです
Muslim の方々が日本のヘアサロンに来やすくなるようにと
レディースデーを作りましたが、これを始めたきっかけがあります！

以前、私たちのインスタグラムを見て、UAEから旅行に来た方が
ミントに予約してくれました！
その時はまだ、ムスリムの方だとはわからなくて、とにかく
プライベートルームでお願いしますということで、私たちは夕方18時からなら
プライベートに過ごせますよ！とご用意をしました！
そして、お出迎えして初めて色々なしきたりを知りました！
私たちは、おしゃれにしたい！彼女がやりたい髪の毛をパープルにしたいという
ヘアスタイルを作りました！
いつもは、ビジャブを被っていますが、中のヘアスタイルはとっても
素敵なんだな〜！色々やって見たいんだな〜と。
お互い、ムスリムの方と私たち女性スタッフは一緒に喜びを分かち合いました！

こんな事もありました！
たまたま、息子の同級生のお母様がムスリムで私が
『髪の毛とかヘアサロンとかどうしてますか？』
と聞いたところ、
『実は、故郷のインドネシアに戻った時にカットしてるのよ』
と、私はかなり驚きました！
やはり、行きやすいヘアサロンはないのかな〜と思い、レディースデーを作って見ました！

今月は６月１６、２３の18時〜ムスリムレディースサロンになっています
